FAQs
What is Duracorral made from?
Duracorral panels are rotationally moulded from heavy-duty, UV-resistant polyethylene. This makes them smooth, safe, and free from sharp metal edges or corners, while also being extremely durable in all weather conditions.
How is Duracorral set up? Does it need to be fixed to the ground?
Duracorral is designed as a free-standing, modular system. The panels connect securely to each other and to the gate using built-in fittings — no tools or permanent fixings are required. Because of their sturdy rotationally moulded design and interlocking system, the panels stay stable without needing to be bolted down or fixed to the floor. This makes Duracorral quick to assemble, easy to reconfigure, and fully portable for use anywhere on your yard or at events.
How big is each panel?
Each panel measures 3.2 m (L) × 1.6 m (H). Panels connect seamlessly with the matching gate to form secure enclosures of almost any size.
Can one person set it up?
Yes — the lightweight design means panels can be moved and assembled by one person without the need for special equipment.
What can I use Duracorral for?
Duracorral is ideal for creating lunge rings, turnout pens, creep feeding areas for foals, temporary paddocks, or safe enclosures at shows and events. They can also be used to separate double field shelters. Its modular design allows you to reconfigure or expand as needed.
How many panels do I need for a standard pen?
There are three Duracorral set up options, a lunge ring, a creep feeding pen and a turnout pen. These set ups come with suitable gate ways or archways. Alternatively, individual sections can be bought for a totally custom set up.
Is Duracorral safe for horses?
Yes — the smooth, rounded design has no sharp metal edges, reducing the risk of cuts or injuries. The panels are strong enough to withstand daily use while being kind to horses if they bump against them.
Is it weatherproof?
Duracorral is designed for outdoor use year-round. The panels are UV-stabilised and weather-resistant, ensuring long service life with minimal maintenance.
Can I transport it easily?
Yes — Duracorral is designed to be portable. Panels are lightweight, stack neatly, and can be transported in a horsebox, trailer, or truck.
Can I buy extra panels or gates separately?
Absolutely. Panels and gates are available individually so you can expand or adapt your existing Duracorral system at any time.
