The Haygain 360 Expert is designed for effective, high-capacity hay steaming that fits seamlessly into daily stable life.
With dual-boiler technology and 360° steam distribution from top and bottom, the Expert delivers clean, palatable hay for up to 18kg per cycle. Steamed hay from the Haygain 360 helps reduce common irritants like dust, mould, and spores, creating a more comfortable feeding experience – especially for sensitive or performance horses.
By adding moisture to forage, the Expert supports hydration and digestive comfort, while improved palatability encourages consistent intake. Built for reliability and ease of use, the Haygain 360 Expert makes clean, high-quality hay part of your everyday routine.
The Haygain 360 Expert delivers powerful, even steam distribution via top-and-bottom injection in a fully insulated, durable chest.
Its dual Fresh Boiler system quickly generates high-temperature steam, reaching over 70°C and maintaining it across the entire hay load to ensure consistent steaming throughout. The spacious design accommodates up to 18kg of loose hay, nets, or small bales – ideal for busy yards or multiple horses.
Built for everyday use, the Expert is easy to clean, fast to run, and designed to integrate into the demands of stable life.

The Haygain 360 range is designed for yards that need volume, consistency, and ease of use.
With larger chest capacities and steam injection from both the top and bottom, these systems ensure even distribution across every bale. Ideal for busy yards or larger herds, the Haygain 360 is a powerful solution for high-volume forage steaming.
Now upgraded with Fresh Boiler technology, the Haygain 360 range delivers efficient, reliable steam generation across all models. The Compact runs on a single 1.45kW Fresh Boiler, making it ideal for smaller setups or individual horses. The Expert and Summit models feature a dual Fresh Boiler system (2 x 1.45kW), drawing less power per socket and offering improved reliability. This configuration operates from two standard sockets, providing flexibility across a wide range of yard environments.
The updated Haygain 360 models have been successfully tested with the new Fresh Boiler system, confirming reliable performance across all sizes in the range. The Compact model, with a 6–8kg hay capacity and a single Fresh Boiler, reached and maintained 90°C in all areas in approximately 1 hour. The Expert model (10kg capacity) achieved the same in 1 hour and 20 minutes, while the larger Summit model (up to 24kg capacity) reached full steaming temperatures in 1 hour and 40 minutes.
In all tests, steam was evenly distributed and sustained across the hay, with residual heat remaining even after the boilers switched off. These results demonstrate the Haygain 360 range’s ability to deliver consistent, high-temperature steaming for a variety of forage volumes — helping to produce clean, palatable hay every time.

The regulator grid allows your horse to eat slowly, in small bites over several hours - as they would while grazing. Support healthy digestion and keep your horse happily occupied.
Allows drainage of particles from the upper respiratory tract and supports the natural alignment of the head, neck and spine.
Sturdy cylinder contains hay to prevent waste and contamination. The Forager can be secured to the wall and base filled with sand for extra stability.
The original Haygain units feature a patented spike manifold system and are supported by peer-reviewed research. The Haygain 360 range offers a different approach, focusing on larger capacity, dual steam distribution, and everyday practicality. While it hasn’t been through the same level of scientific study, it’s been thoroughly tested for reliable performance in real-world settings.
The Haygain 360 range includes models powered by Fresh Boiler technology to suit different yard needs. The Compact features a single 1.45kW Fresh Boiler, ideal for smaller setups or individual horses. The Expert and Summit models use a dual Fresh Boiler system (2 x 1.45kW), which draws less power per socket, improves reliability, and suits a wide variety of stable environments.
Performance tests have shown that both configurations reach and maintain steaming temperatures of 90°C across all areas of the hay, delivering even, effective forage preparation from top to bottom.
The Haygain 360 Compact requires just one socket supplying 1.45kW, making it a convenient option for smaller yards or limited power setups. The Expert and Summit models require two sockets, each supplying 1.45kW. This dual setup helps reduce strain on individual circuits and offers greater flexibility across a wider range of yard environments.
The Compact model (up to 6kg capacity) takes approximately 1 hour, the Expert model (10kg capacity) takes around 1 hour 20 minutes, and the Summit model (24kg capacity) takes approximately 1 hour 40 minutes. These times are based on the hay reaching and maintaining 90°C in all areas for at least 10 minutes, ensuring even and effective steaming throughout.
The Haygain 360 units use all the water in the boilers during the cycle. Once steaming is finished, no water remains – providing a clear visual cue that the cycle is complete.
Yes. Regular descaling with either the 360 liquid descaler or Haygain Descaler Sachets is essential to maintain performance and extend the life of the Fresh Boilers.
Yes, Haygain 360 is suitable for all types of hay. Its large capacity and even steam distribution make it particularly effective for big bales or steaming for multiple horses.
While the Haygain 360 offers excellent steaming results and is tested for performance, it is not supported by peer-reviewed scientific research like the original Haygain range. However, field testing has confirmed consistent high-temperature steaming.
